How we work (no intro)
A good place for bees requires certain features (see Bee Communities). We send an experienced beekeeper to potential sites to make sure there is an appropriate spot. We do a site assessment before bringing bees to your place to make sure it’s a good fit, and that we are all on the same page as to what it will entail.
We also must look at access to the proposed bee yard. For example, a site at the bottom of a ravine would not be appropriate. Or perhaps you have a hilltop site that seems great but is ½ mile from the closest parking place.
These are the kinds of challenges we want to know about before making the decision to bring bees to your place! Here are pics of some of our favorite bee-yard locations!
