About Us – Our Story

The Hive Tribe began as a passion for bees that has grown and changed over the years. We started as a family project to learn how to take care of backyard hives

When people learned we cared for bees, some asked if we could remove hives that had taken up residence on their property.

It was through this business of removing hives that we discovered that many people didn’t want to lose the hives we were taking off their property. With this in mind, we shifted our  focus to providing people with a way to safely and responsibly keep hives on their property no matter their experience or knowledge of beekeeping.

Today, The Hive Tribe manages apiaries for clients all over Los Angeles County who want to beautify and enrich their property, and support bee habitats. Our mission is to give everybody the opportunity to experience the joy of beekeeping and to contribute to the health of their local ecosystem.
